Bala Brass will present a recital including sneak-peek performances of three fantastic new works composed specifically for Bala, as well as a couple of old favorites. Drawing from a wide range of influences, from big band jazz to Vaughn Williams, these pieces are sure to delight and inspire. This recital marks the beginning of an exciting run for this program, culminating with a recital at Tanglewood this summer and ultimately a CD recording project. Come be among the first to hear these extraordinary new works. Tickets are $15 at the door, and a reception will follow.

Bala is thrilled to have been invited to perform at the WGBH 99.5 All Classical Festival. Bala will be performing two concerts throughout the daylong festival, at 12:15pm and 5:15pm. Works by McDougall, Bolter, and Bradshaw.
