Benefit Concert at The Church of the Pilgrimage

Recital at 7:00pm

Bala Brass will be presenting a Benefit Concert with proceeds going to the Plymouth Task Force for the Homeless on March 7, 2008 at The Church of the Pilgrimage UCC, Plymouth, MA.  The program will feature compositions by Dana Wilson, Morley Calvert, and Gustav Holst.  Admission to the concert is free to the public with donations gratefully excepted on behalf of the Plymouth Task Force for the Homeless.

Bradshaw World Premier at United Parish

NERTEC Opening Concert

UCONN Brass Day Festival and Competition

Join Bala on February 17th for an day-long Brass Festival featuring master classes, workshops and performances by ourselves, as well as the U.S. Coast Guard Brass Quintet, and the University of Connecticut brass faculty. The day will conclude with a concert at 7pm by Bala Brass and guests.

Organ and Brass Recital at United Parish of Brookline

Bala will be collaborating with Susan DeSelms, organist at United Parish in Brookline, MA, for a special organ and brass concert. Susan will be playing on the historic E.M. Skinner organ with proceeds from the recital going towards the Organ Restoration Fund.

Concert at International Trumpet Guild Conference

Bala Brass has been invited back by the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) to perform at the 2006 annual conference.  Bala will follow up on their world premier performance of Robert J. Bradshaw’s “Right Then, Same Time Tomorrow…” at last years ITG Conference in Bangkok, Thailand with a recital featuring provocative works for brass quintet by well known American and International composers.

Concert in St. Paul

While on a Midwest tour, Bala Brass will be performing in the recently constructed and highly acclaimed chapel on the St. Croix Lutheran High School Campus. Bala will be a part of a developing concert series at the venue. The concert is at 7:00pm on October 18th, 2005.

Bala Brass together with composer Robert J. Bradshaw, have released a clip of Bradshaw's new work for brass quintet, "Right Then. Same Time Tomorrow?" The clip contains all of movement six which is titled, "Mulberry Tree." Bala Brass will be giving the world premier of the new work commissioned by Bala at the ITG Conference on June 22, 2005 in Bangkok Thailand.

Salem State College Events

Bala Brass has been invited to the Salem State College campus to give a brass masterclass and concert. The events will take place on April 15, 2005 with a masterclass from 3:30-5:30 pm and a concert at 8:00 pm. The conert will be in the Recital Hall on the Central Campus.

2005 New York Brass Conference

In line with Bala Brass' vision of performing contemporary music, Bala has been invited to give a recital at the 2005 New York Brass Conference (NYBC). The conference will take place at Purchase College (NY) on April 08, 09. Bala will be performing works by Bradshaw, Salzedo, and Schnyder.

2005 International Trumpet Guild Conference

The ITG has invited Bala Brass to perform as part of the New Music Concert at the 2005 conference. The conference will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from June 21-24, and will feature brass artists and ensembles from around the globe.
